I’m Maggie, a product designer that enjoys taking grounded systematic approaches to ambiguous problem spaces with a special strength in definition of product roadmaps through storytelling and building empathy for the user. I have demonstrated experience designing products in both enterprise and consumer spaces, with a proven ability to ship desktop experiences and mobile apps. I'm skilled at leading discussions in a cross functional context, partnering closely with product, engineering, and other teams to facilitate and deliver on initiatives. Beyond the product designer experience, I also care deeply about contributing to a positive work environment, iterating on team operations/processes as they scale, with a goal of creating space for my teammates to build trust, share values, and tangibly track growth.

At Cloudflare, I’ve been working on driving organizational alignment across our core product platform by establishing its first platform design team. During my tenure, I've introduced a service design approach to assessing and improving our internal tooling experience and partnered with multiple customer-facing product teams to ship MVP products and build out roadmaps. I’ve also been actively working towards scaling our design team practices alongside the design leadership team in my new role as a hybrid design manager & staff designer.

Previously I was the mobile lead for consumer experiences at OpenTable, built tools within the cybersecurity space at OPSWAT, and even spent some time interning at the Yolo County Courthouse where I explored opportunities to work within the intersection of public service and design.

Currently, I'm spending free time nurturing my interests in ceramics, experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes, and watering my 100+ 🪴 house plants.
